Meadowsweet favours wet areas such as damp meadows, ditches, bogs, and river banks. The white flowers are produced at the end of the long stems, and give off a sweet aroma ,attracting a wide variety of insects. It is found throughout the UK and Ireland, and has been used as a medicinal herb for joints and muscles.

Plant Height: 60-120cm
Once planted, meadowsweet requires little management. It does best in moist soil and partly-shaded areas. Clumps can be divided every three years.
